Luminaries

"The Luminaries" by Eleanor Catton is a murder mystery novel where every character represents a unique zodiac sign. I used after effects to animate this constellation-inspired opening sequence. If this book was ever made into a Netflix show, this is what I imagine the title sequence might look like. Nature and literature are some of my favorite places to turn to for inspiration, and I enjoyed getting to explore both of these points while working on this design.
